A homepage is where the site visitor first goes to when they view your store. From the homepage they have a choice of clicking on either "text or picture download". This helps in download time, some people might have a slow modem. For them to download the picture catalog would take a long time, so they can download the text version, pick what they want to see and view just that item.
CATALOG PAGES:
Each catalog page consists of 6 scanned images. These pictures are a small version of a larger size. When somebody clicks on the small picture ( thumbnail ) they are sent to a page with the larger picture and a description of the item and price. When you want to run a sale, discounted items, change inventory, Shop Putnam County.com can set that up too.
Each catalog page will have a total of 6 thumbnails ( small pictures ), you can set up as many catalog pages as you want. You must supply a description of the item in 25 words. We recommend that you include the weight and size (height, width, depth ) if possible. Make sure the price is included also.
To set up and maintain your Virtual Store, there is a charge of only $100.00 per month. This lets us send your orders by fax, or e-mail.
There is also a charge of $25.00 a month per Catalog Page. There are 6
(six) items
to a page.
